The 33 year old superstar, the goal machine Cristiano Ronaldo is still competitive
The UEFA Champion’s league awards have finally been revealed and Cristiano Ronaldo is crowned as the 2017/2018 best forward. Not surprising as the goal machine scored stunning goals throughout the competition. We will remember especially his acrobatic move against Juventus that left the world speechless. Consequently Juventus fans gave a standing ovation following the amazing goal. Most noteworthy the superstar scored 15 goals in 13 champion’s league appearance.
Likewise, Luca Modric, Sergio Ramos and Keylor Navas; Ronaldo’s former teammates were awarded with the best mifielder, best defender and best goalkeeper awards respectively. Very well deserved as each them enormously contributed to their club’s victory.
Let’s also take the opportunity also to congratulate Lucas Modric. The Real Madrid midfielder won the UEFA player of the year award seeing off competition, Cristiano Ronaldo and Mohamed Salah. It is probably the start of a new era in the world of football since Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi won all of these (poty awards and golden balls) during the past few years. Furthermore the UCL (champion’s league) giants Real Madrid outclassed the individual awards and won each one of the competition.
